The process for Platelet-Rich Plasma is relatively simple. A patient’s blood is drawn, spun down to concentrated platelets. Next, the platelets are reintroduced into the targeted treatment area. By reintroducing these platelets into the targeted treatment area, it is releasing the body’s own growth factors. Those growth factors are what the body uses to heal tissue.

Our PRP products are FDA cleared 510(k) Class II Medical Devices for the purpose of collecting PRP for medical autologous applications. The PRP is mixed with autograft or allograft bone prior to application to a bony defect for improving handling characteristics.
